This picture makes me chuckle.
Ok, so here we go,
Eleven random things about me:
So here are the questions sent by Megan:
1. If you had one month of free airline travel, where would you go? Humm, I think I would go to Australia. Then I would go to Greenland to visit the hot springs. Or is it Iceland with the hot springs? I don't know, but I would find out which one it was, and go there. Or both. I would go to both. Then I would go to Belgium and get a waffle. I love a good waffle.
2. If you could be the creator and CEO of your own company, what would your company be? I would like to make candy, because everyone loves candy.
3. If you were known for one obvious character trait, what do you think it would be? I think my siblings would say my forgetfulness. It's kind of a joke that I don't remember a lot of things from my childhood. They have to tell me stories of things we did when we were little cause I don't remember some things.
That, and my awesomeness, of course.
4. If you had to be a teacher for the rest of your life, what subject and grade would you want to teach and why? Astronomy. I love the stars and there are a lot of things that I would like to learn about them. I think it would be awesome to know all the constellations and the science of stars and universes and all that cool stuff.
5. What is your bedtime routine? Do you read, listen to music, kick the covers off, use ten blankets?
I start by changing my clothes, and turn on the A/C in our room to start it cooling down. Then I wash my face, take meds, brush teeth, then I wash my feet. They get really dirty walking around without shoes all day. After I check on the kids I get in bed. Even though we have to sleep with the air on, I still like to be under a blanket. I just like the weight of it on me. Then Scott and I say prayers together and I will either read or go to sleep. It depends on how late it is. Writing that just made me want to go to bed,
6. What is your biggest fear? Having something horrible happen to my kids. I don't want to go into a lot of detail into that because it just stresses me out.
7. How much money would someone have to pay you to catch and eat a spider? What about to eat someones toe jam? Or their ear wax? Gross! I might eat a spider because Andrew Zimmern from Bizzare Foods does it all the time, but you would still have to pay me A LOT. Like thousands of dollars.
The price on the toe jam or earwax depends on how much there is, and who it came from. It would still be a lot of money though.
8. If you could be amazing at one sport and on your way to compete at the 2012 Olympics, what sport would you pick? I've always liked the diving. I think it looks cool and I think they are brave from jumping off such high stuff.
9. If you could live anyone elses life for one month, fully experiencing their daily joys, sorrows, successes, and failures, whose life would you choose? I don't know. Somebody rich though. Maybe like a rich celebrity's child. I wouldn't want to do it for a lifetime, but I could do it for a month. Just long enough to get tired of living in an awesome house and not having to do much work. It would be like a month long vacation.
10. Suppose you owned a large home in the country with a large circular drive. If you could place any one thing in the center of that circle to greet your guests as they approached your home, what would it be? Humm... It would have to be a huge naked statue. Something to just throw people off. A fountain would be to obvious.
11. If you could avoid one household chore for the rest of your life, what would it be? Scott is wonderful and does the dishes most nights. If I cook he does the dishes. I do not miss doing them. I would like it if Scott would be around for the rest of my life to do the dishes for me.
Ok, so here we go,
Eleven random things about me:
1. I really love Minicoopers. One day I will have one. My dream for a long time was to have a Minicooper with a sun roof and have a great dane who would poke his head out the top and we would drive around. Right now I have the great dane but no Minicooper. Sigh...
2.I am a Diet Coke-aholic. I love it.
3. I miss being able to have a lazy Sunday and watch Pride and Prejudice with my sisters. The 6 hour version with Collin Firth. We would usually start it at the 4 hour mark just because we like the last half the best. Scott doesn't appreciate P&P like my sisters do.
4. I love to bake and make yummy things, but I don't have to eat everything I make. Usually a batch of cookies ends up in the freezer and it takes us a month to eat them all.
5. I think it's weird when random Puerto Ricans come up to me and my kids and say "Que Bello, or Que Bella!!" It's pretty much because they are blonde and they don't see a lot of them here. I secretly love it though. I love my kids and I think they are cute too. It's going to be an adjustment for me when we get back to the states and random Americans aren't saying how cute they are all the time.
6. I like to paint my fingernails and toenails black, but I'm not gothic or punk or weird. I just like it.
7. I'm ridiculously afraid of getting a paper cut on my eyeball.
8. I like to collect salt and pepper shakers.
9. I also wanted to get a motorcycle with a side car for my great dane. I would get it a pair of goggles to wear while we cruised.
10. I have to shower with the shower curtain open. One reason is so I can hear the kids and the other reason is that Scott likes to either scare me in the shower or pour cold water over me. Now I just keep it open so he can't sneak up on me.
11. I got a tattoo of a butterfly on my back on me 18th birthday. I kept it a secret from my parents for over a year, and when I told my Dad he looked like he was going to cry. That was worse than him yelling at me.
